About Duarte
Very large blood-red heart-shaped fruit, round with reddish-purple skin and heavy bloom. Flesh amber yellow, firm. Excellent sweet flavour. Good for fresh consumption, jams, jellies. Dries well. Requires cross-pollination with other Japanese plums. Good for mid-hills.
