Popular large-fruited Japanese plum. Very large, round, black skin with bloom. Flesh deep amber to red near skin, firm, very sweet, juicy. Excellent flavour and quality. Good keeping quality. Mid to late season harvest July-August. Requires pollenizer. Highly recommended for mid-hills.
