How to spot it

Olive-green to black spots on leaves and raised scabs on fruit. Premature leaf drop and fruit cracking.

Prevention

Rake and destroy fallen leaves. Spray urea in autumn. Choose resistant varieties.

Organic treatment

Apply lime sulphur during dormancy. Use copper oxychloride at green tip. Spray neem oil.
